The Sun

I am warmed by what I no longer need to hide.

Integrated radiance - the clarity available after shadow work.

The Sun is the clarity that follows the Moon's night crossing. Something formerly hidden has been lived with long enough to be metabolized, and the self becomes warm, direct, and simple - not because it is naive, but because it no longer has to split itself in half to function.

Fullness

The healthy, integrated expression

The Warm Clarity

Unhidden selfhood. The Sun in fullness is generous without performance, joyful without denial, and present to others without needing to dim itself to keep them comfortable.

Active Shadow

Over-expression - Enantiodromia inflates the energy

The Blinding Ego

Radiance weaponized. The self becomes the center of every room, warmth turns to glare, and the Sun's gift is used to outshine rather than illuminate. Toxic positivity replaces presence.

Passive Shadow

Under-expression - the repressed or deflated pole

The Hidden Light

Radiance refused. The self dims itself reflexively to avoid envy, conflict, or attention. What could have warmed others is withheld under a story of humility that is closer to fear.

Cross-System Resonance

This archetype lives in the The Innocent and Integration & Wholeness clusters. Each cluster gathers figures across traditions that share an underlying resonance - with honesty about where inference begins.

Mirrors to try on, not a diagnosis. See methodology.

Cluster

Supported

The Innocent - Pre-Initiation and Earned

Every individuation model names TWO innocences: the pre-initiation openness (Fool, Divine Child) and the post-initiation radiance (Sun, Jester-at-rest). Not the same.

Added Sun (XIX) and ISFJ per Mission 8. Two-part structure now explicit.

Devil's advocate:Previous version overweighted pre-initiation and ignored the return to innocence.

Cluster

Supported

Integration & Wholeness - The Completed Self

Opposites held together. Four systems, four different end-states (Pearson wholeness; Campbell return-with-boon; Riso Level 9; Tarot World). Axis continuous, destinations not identical.

Added Temperance (LITERALLY named for alchemical integration), Emperor (integrated sovereign), Hierophant (integrated tradition-bearer).
